Now, let's get on to day 2 of this mojolicious blog hop. BUT, hop no further because you are here:)
This is a before picture of the cigar box. And what I love most about the cigar boxes I have, NONE of them smell like tabacco at all. Thank goodness for that. Also, I never knew that cigar boxes came in so many different shapes and designs. I love these things!
Inside the box, I placed felt as the box liner.
I so adore this little sentiment inside
Upclose of the inside lid of the box.
I also created a mini tag book and inserted it in the pocket on the inside of the lid. This is where I ended up going a bit traditional with the colors...surprised me too:)
I heart this box and he was very pleased with it. I'm so grateful to have a husband that's so supportive and encouraging of what I do. When I'm crafting he often steps into my studio just to see what I'm creating. He's always saying I don't have enough "stuff", so when am I taking you to get more. Funny I think that's a creative way to keep on getting his hunting/fishing stuff:)

So click on over to Kim's blog and take a peek at what she created for day 1 of our 5 day mojo/inspiration hop. Then be sure to take a peek at the beautiful LO she created on the Swirlydoos blog.
Our hope during this week is to share our love of papercrafting, and while doing so, inspire you to create something fabulous as well.

I created this card early this morning..like before day break (my best and most favorite time to create). This card was created for submission to the Mojo Monday challenge. This is one of those cards you make and almost hate to give away...that's why you have to create two:)

When we made it home he took his to his room...unaltered. His only request before I altered it was that I use a picture of him with his brother in the tray. I used a picture they took while Karohn was here on leave. This is from their brother's day out together.
I still have a couple of elements I would like to add to the tray, like a metal A+ to add to the grade card and the word love on the journaling sprout.
I love shopping the wooden section of Michaels for pieces I can use on my LO's or alter projects like this for a pop of dimension and it's an unexpected object.
Supplies: 7 Gypsies photo tray; PP - TPC Studio, Simple Stories, Crate Paper; Magic Mesh, twine, Pink Paislee wooden letters, K&Co Metal keys, Michaels brand wooden buttons, Basic Grey journaling sprout; ticket; wooden baseball and bat (wood craft from Michaels), eyelits, clip, black pearls, MM findings, TH fragment shaped pieces, JoAnn's brand alpha charms, Spare Parts mini bottle caps, corrigated chipboard, acrylic paint, cricut (cut the letter "A"), Graphic 45 (I think) clock piece, Spare parts arrows and brad, ribbon and Spare parts shaped metal.

I think the flower was the toughest part for me, for some reason I think my fabric glue has lost it's power. It just wouldn't hold it's form--UGH!! But in the end I forced it to work out.
Supplies: Silver chain, rope clasp closure (oops forgot to take a pic of that), jump rings, beads and felt. I so adore my felt choice, it's called denim and it seemed a bit thinker than your normal sheets of felt. I think the color is great also.
